The table tennis ladies met at the Waterfront Hotel on Feb. 19 with 12 ladies present. Everyone enjoyed the meal with lots of laughing and talk of good times. At the table where I sat we discussed the many options of having a knee replaced. Then it became more interesting to find what doctor to choose. There are so many choices both here in the Villages and places like Tampa, Ocala, and Orlando.
Seventeen ladies from the Villages Table Tennis club enjoyed a delicious lunch at Thai Ruby on Monday. Any woman from the table tennis club can join us once a month. It is a good opportunity to get to know your fellow teammates.
Mark your calendar, the next luncheon will be on February 19 at 12:00 at the Waterfront Inn. Pat Deacon will be the person to contact if interested. Contact Jane Nelson at email@example.com to get on the email list.
On Sunday December 17 about 100 of our friends collected in the Lincoln room at Laurel Manor for the annual Holiday Pot Luck Dinner. Like every other year we didn’t make any suggestions about who brings what dish. But as I was walking down the line a clear theme emerged, meatballs. There were many different styles of meatballs. Yes, we had lots of other delicious choices but I love meatballs.
