Sad news, Bud Stout our founder passed away.
There were table tennis players in the Villages since the beginning. But in 2006 Bud Stout realized there was a problem. No one knew the names of all the players, there was no organization, no way to share information. So he did something about it. "Actually, I didn't even know I was starting a club. One day someone said, 'Bud, it looks like you are starting a club.'". The rest is history. The Villages Table Tennis Club owes its existence to Bud. He will be missed. Bud left us a few words about his life. villages-news.com/2023/08/23/bud-stout Please share your stories about Bud just hit comments. Congratulations to Villagers on the podium at the National Senior Games.
