We recently lost one of our own, Ken Riggs. Ken was a long-time member of our Villages Table Tennis Club and participated in many local, state, and national table tennis tournaments and not just senior tournaments. A few years ago, was that he was the national senior doubles champion in his age bracket. He was nationally ranked and achieved a rating of 1620. Ken had to retire his paddles a few years ago due to an old shoulder injury acting up. Ken was a great competitor and his good nature, and competitive spirit will be missed. Ken rest in peace.

The 2nd Table Tennis golf outing was held July 6th at Yankee Clipper. It was a great day and thanks for the anti rain dances performed by Judy and Nancy. I really thought from the forecast that no way we were playing. Anyway we got off on time and we only had one no show (He called in and let us know). Competition was tight with the first place team scoring 4 under, 2nd place was 3 under and the next three teams were tied at 1 under.
I'm looking forward to doing it again in the fall. Thanks, Mike PS Special thanks to Judy & Nancy for all their help and they got some great pictures.
